From March 1, 2018, the Youth Movement of the Public Association "Human Rights Movement: Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" begins its activities to promote the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

The youth movement is a key component of the Bir Duino Strategy for the development of youth leadership in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In October 2017, a team of volunteers was assembled to prepare and conduct the XI International Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights.

This group of volunteers provided significant support to the organizers of the festival on a voluntary basis. The volunteers were present at the film screenings, at the festival workshops, accompanied delegates, assisted in the registration of guests, observance of order at the shows, as well as distribution and collection of film evaluation sheets by spectators. In addition, the volunteers had the opportunity to express their activity by helping to translate texts, deliver letters, prepare materials for the festival. After the festival, this group of volunteers has evolved into a youth movement, whose goal is to work continuously to promote knowledge of human rights among the population, namely among the younger generation. At the moment, there are 130 active volunteers in the youth movement, most of them are high school students of secondary general education institutions. Young leaders believe that educated youth is a powerful lever for the country's successful development.

After the International Festival of Documentary Films of Bir Duino Fest-2017, the youth movement together with the Center for Family Restoration "Alternative" staged screenings of the documentary film "Equality: Everything Begins with the Family" in secondary schools №54, №81, №86, and also in the Kyrgyz State Legal Academy and Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the annual international "16 day campaign against gender violence".

Following the results of this campaign, on December 7, a round table was organized in the AKIpress press center with the campaign participants, at which the results of the activities and recommendations were announced. On December 10, the youth movement "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" held a flashmob with the participation of 30 volunteers. The dance of the youth movement carries the meaning of equality, freedom of women and youth activity.

Further, on January 20, 2018 at 15:00 near the monument of U. Saliyeva (Chui / Soviet) young leaders-volunteers of the "Human Rights Movement: Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" held a peaceful march in honor of the protection of women's rights in Kyrgyzstan. The purpose of this march was a vivid demonstration of disagreement between young people and unfair situations happening at the moment in the country: early marriages, bride kidnapping, polygamy, pedophilia, family and sexual violence, harassment at work, slavery and human trafficking. This action was also timed to coincide with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Women's March, which was held around the world on January 20-21, 2018. "Youth march in honor of the protection of women's rights of Kyrgyzstan" is a continuation of the "March of Freedom" against all types of violence and discrimination, which was held in Bishkek on January 21, 2017.

From March 1, 2018, the Youth Movement of the Human Rights Movement: Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan starts its activities to promote the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights. Within the framework of this declaration, young leaders will conduct trainings on teaching high school students, as well as arrange events in honor of important international significant holidays.

The goal of the National Campaign for the Education of the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights in the Kyrgyz Republic is to provide legal knowledge to young people so that they know and use the rights that they have from birth.

At the moment, the youth movement is preparing the first event for the International Writer's Day on March 3, 2018. This will be a cultural event where talented young people from the city of Bishkek will meet. This action characterizes 18 and 19 articles of the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights on the freedom of thought, belief and freedom of expression.

On March 6, 2018, from 14: 00-17: 00, the youth movement of Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan together with the Alternative Family Restoration Center will screen the film "Equality: It`s all in the Family" at the Cinema House as part of the campaign "24 Hours for Equality in the family ", this campaign was launched by the international organization for teaching leadership, protection and promotion of women's rights" Women's Learning Partnership "for global advocacy against discriminative family law.

This year, the youth will become a key component of the XII International Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights, Bir Duino, 2018. We hope that the youth movement of the PA "HRM: Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" will be able to create a platform for discussion and decision-making that will start for positive changes and development at the national, Central Asian and international levels.
