From March 1, 2018, the Youth Movement of the Public Association "Human Rights Movement: Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" begins its activities to promote the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights.
The youth movement is a key component of the Bir Duino Strategy for the development of youth leadership in the Kyrgyz Republic.
In October 2017, a team of volunteers was assembled to prepare and conduct the XI International Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights.
This group of volunteers provided significant support to the organizers of the festival on a voluntary basis. The volunteers were present at the film screenings, at the festival workshops, accompanied delegates, assisted in the registration of guests, observance of order at the shows, as well as distribution and collection of film evaluation sheets by spectators. In addition, the volunteers had the opportunity to express their activity by helping to translate texts, deliver letters, prepare materials for the festival. After the festival, this group of volunteers has evolved into a youth movement, whose goal is to work continuously to promote knowledge of human rights among the population, namely among the younger generation. At the moment, there are 130 active volunteers in the youth movement, most of them are high school students of secondary general education institutions. Young leaders believe that educated youth is a powerful lever for the country's successful development.
After the International Festival of Documentary Films of Bir Duino Fest-2017, the youth movement together with the Center for Family Restoration "Alternative" staged screenings of the documentary film "Equality: Everything Begins with the Family" in secondary schools №54, №81, №86, and also in the Kyrgyz State Legal Academy and Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the annual international "16 day campaign against gender violence".
Following the results of this campaign, on December 7, a round table was organized in the AKIpress press center with the campaign participants, at which the results of the activities and recommendations were announced. On December 10, the youth movement "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" held a flashmob with the participation of 30 volunteers. Saliyeva (Chui / Soviet) young leaders-volunteers of the "Human Rights Movement: Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" held a peaceful march in honor of the protection of women's rights in Kyrgyzstan. This action was also timed to coincide with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Women's March, which was held around the world on January 20-21, 2018. "Youth march in honor of the protection of women's rights of Kyrgyzstan" is a continuation of the "March of Freedom" against all types of violence and discrimination, which was held in Bishkek on January 21, 2017.
