Today, in the secondary school no. 54, in Bishkek, started 16 days campaign against gender-based violence. A documentary film "Equality: It`s all in the Family", prepared by WLP International was shown with subtitles in Kyrgyz and in Russian. After watching the film, there were discussions about equality and non-discrimination in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Organizers of the campaign: Youth movement of the Human Rights Organization "Bir Duino-Kyrgyzstan". The review was attended by 50 senior students, three teachers and the director of the school Borisova Irina Andreevna.

Aziza Zhunusova in her opening speech noted the main mission of the human rights movement "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan", talked about the 16 - day campaign, provided contact points for child protection centers and introduced all the members of the expert group.
Khvan Lidia - coordinator of the 11th international documentary film festival on human rights "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan" told about the human rights movement, the festival and the idea of gender equality.
Turdubayeva Guzel Zhenishnovna - the main specialist in the educational work of the education department of the Bishkek city administration and Tashibekova Gulnisa Tashibekovna - the chief specialist of the family and children support department of the social development department of the Pervomaisky district of the city of Bishkek spoke about their work and expressed their support for the campaign "16 days against gender violence".
Irina Kirillina, psychologist at the Center for Family Restoration Alternative, as well as a specialist in the issues of family interaction and raising children, spoke about the Alternative center and how to get help.
Then the film was shown, (26 minutes), after the screening, Aziza together with the psychologist held a discussion with the audience.
The pupils of the senior classes told their opinion about the film and asked their questions to the experts. The event was summed up with words of gratitude to the participants, experts and director of the school.
